Palestinian detainees in the Netzan prison have started a number of protest measures over the past couple of days topped by returning meals to protest continued provocations of Zionist jailers.
The 130 prisoners in a message to the Palestinian prisoner's organization said that the Zionist prison administration insist on stripping prisoners as part of routine checks.
They also charged the jailers of storming their cells on daily basis in a provocative manner and of delaying improvement of imprisonment and health conditions.
The message pointed out that 15 sick and wounded prisoners were suffering from medical negligence. Those prisoners were not given any medication as some of them were in need of urgent surgeries, the message went on.
The message also complained from bad quality of meals and lack of enough blankets in the winter season along with shortage in detergents.
They asked the Red Cross to send representatives to visit the prison that was re-opened two months ago after its earlier closure due to growing international protests in view of its cruel detention conditions.
Meanwhile, in the Ramle prison for female detainees, heavily armed guards stormed cells of the 50 detainees then moved detainee Amna Mona to solitary confinement. She is frequently imprisoned in isolation ever since her arrest.
The storming operation one week ago followed the detainees' demand of improving their detention conditions.
In Askalan prison detainee Ahmed Abul Sukkar, who has been behind bars for 27 years as the longest serving Palestinian detainee, has complained to Fatema Al-Natsha, lawyer of the club, of his suffering from effects of an acute heart attack that he survived two years ago.
Abul Sukkar also said that the detainees were in need of blankets and winter clothes and called for allowing family visits, which were blocked for the past couple of years.
He called for popular pressures demanding freedom for prisoners in a massive campaign in the year 2003, noting that around 25 captives have been locked up in Zionist jails for more than 20 years while more than a thousand others were sentenced to life.
