Zionist army roadblocks play no lesser dangerous role than the army soldiers who fire indiscriminately at innocent civilians in the Palestinian lands claiming hundreds of lives.
Those roadblocks have obstructed movement of ambulance vehicles on numerous occasions leading to death of wounded persons and newborns.
Palestinian citizens suffer daily harassments at the Zionist roadblocks, which separate between Palestinian cities, especially patients and pregnant women.
The Palestinian Authority's health ministry reported in recent statistics that 82 sick patients died at Zionist roadblocks in 2002 or due to delay in arrival of ambulance cars as a result of those roadblocks whether in the West Bank or Gaza Strip.
The report pointed out that 28 newborns died last year due to obstructing ambulances cars carrying them to hospitals.
The report also indicated that 166 Palestinian women, including 12 over 50 years old, had died at the Zionist roadblocks.
It said that Zionists obstructed the movement of Palestinian ambulance cars in 720 cases when the vehicles were rushing to patients in dire need of hospitalization.
The report said that Zionist occupation troops destroyed 35 Palestinian ambulance vehicles last year.
