¡÷In Bilbao (Spain) about 80.000 persons demonstrated against the ban of the bask Batasuna party

At the beginning of the global ¡°season of struggle¡± (so left media in Germany) in the last days hundred thousands went on the streets in order to protest against war, repression and the unjust world order.

In Rome alone about 500.000 persons protested against the Italian head of the government, Berlusconi. This extremely rightwing politician almost controls the electronic media in Italy. Because his own corruptness he makes his own laws.

In Bilbao (Spain) about 80.000 persons demonstrated against the ban of the bask Batasuna party, as well against the repression against all opposition movements, social groups and their media ¨C under the pretext of the so called ¡°fight against terror¡±.
The demonstrators were attacked by large police units, using teargas, rubber bullets and truncheons.

In Salzburg (Austria) some thousands of demonstrators took the street to protest against the summit of the World Food Foundation that only concern about the good living conditions of the inhabitants of the so called developed countries.

In Bern (Switzerland) on Saturday around 1.500 protested against the same issue.
According to the German news agency dpa in Moscow, about 500 persons were protesting against the capitalism. The Russian police attacked the demonstrators, hurting a large number of them.

In Cologne (Germany) on Saturday 40.000 were demonstrating against war, social cut off, neo liberalism. Some thousands interrupted pre election meetings of the conservative candidate E. Stoiber from the Christ ¡°Democratic¡± Union.

In Freiburg (Germany), also on Saturday, about 15.000 persons were protesting against a planned demonstration of the fascist National Democratic Party. Some 100 fascists, arrived at the train station, had to turn back home, because even the 1000 cops couldn¡¯t protect them.
Also in Luebeck and other West German cities demonstrators were able to prevent nazi marches.

In the German city Schweinfurt around 900 nuclear opponents protested against planned transportation of nuclear waste.
