Background:
Before moving to Sweden, I was working with http://www.nodo50.org, a non-profit content provider in Madrid. I have been working in the privacy/security area for seven years. I came to the conference to meet face to face with Jinbonet activists.
What issues do you want to raise in the conference?
In the confernce I want to raise awareness about interception capabilities and interception. I also want to share my experience building wireless networks.
What is the state of internet controling policy in your country, and the resistance to such state regulation?
Sweden will follow the data protection european directives. During these days the debate about traffic retention is open again. The alternative is to raise awareness and make sure that civil society is involved in the policy discussions.
What urgent issues would you like to raise?
I want to speak out privacy issues in the next generation of mobile internet. IPv6 privacy.
How do you think participants can continue international solidarity?
Mailing lists and creating ad-hoc campaign working groups.
