They demanded that president Kim Dae-jung should resign.(DJ-Out)
- Representatives of about 50 universities make an National Student Struggle Committee in collaboration. This Committee is made in memorial of the 111st Mayday.
On April 28th, as an action of struggle, they held an Street March of University Student on the Chongno Street. The title of this demonstration is (Youth and Student Direct Action Day for "DJ OUT" ― which means that the Kim Dae-Jung Govenment should
resign right now.)
About 200 student participated in this rally with taking a Red Card in their hand written "DJ OUT". They marched toward Cheongwadae (The Blue House) to give the card to President Kim Dae-jung.
But, a lot of Riot policemen blockaded the exit of the Chonggak Subway Station. Student who could not go ahead, threw their card to the policemen as an protest sign and went down to the station. They made an ending rally of this march at the Chonggak Subway Station.
