Oct.31 (Seoul, Korea) -- Combining exercise, visibility, and mobility, activists have started an eleven day bicycle-riding campaign aimed at raising awareness of media reform.
The People's Action for Newspaper Reform, an alliance of civic groups struggling to reform Korea's controversey-riddled media industry, began their journey from the National Assembly building.
On monday, a spokesperson announced, "We will do our best to force the revision of media legislation now being discussed in the National Assembly, and our eleven day bike riding campaign will hopefully increase support from the Korean people."
