Raise Voice Against Chosun Ilbo
Amid heightening of a popular voice against the Chosun Ilbo, from 22th to 28th of November was the Anti-Chosun Ilbo Citizen Week. During this period, various cultural events were held in Insa-dong. There were Anti-Chosun Ilbo Exhibition, Anti-Chosun Ilbo Guerrilla Show and Citizen's Social Gathering. In the Citizen's Solidarity against Chosun Ilbo, the sponsor of these events intended that people know about anti-Chosun Ilbo Movement and take part in it.

Amid heightening of a popular voice against the Chosun Ilbo, from 22th to 28th of November was the Anti-Chosun Ilbo Citizen Week. During this period, various cultural events were held in Insa-dong. There were Anti-Chosun Ilbo Exhibition, Anti-Chosun Ilbo Guerrilla Show and Citizen's Social Gathering. Throughout the period, Anti-Chosun Ilbo Exhibition was held in the Alternative Space, Pool and the Citizen's Social Gathering was given at the same venue on the 24th. The purpose of the exhibition was people to know the false and distorted report of the Chosun Ilbo, Korean history disorted by this, and the meaning of Anti-Chosun Ilbo Movement, which oppose conservative force with an ideology of anti-Reunification. Then, they were to hold such things in common with the citizens. 36 artists and one group participated in the exhibition.
The Anti-Chosun Ilbo Guerrilla Show, which drew the most people's attention, was held in an outdoor standing stage of Insa-dong on the 26th.
The title of Anti-Chosun Ilbo Guerrilla Show was "Rage Against the Chosun". It was composed of three parts. In the first program, hip-hop teams and Indie bands performed. The audience responded enthusiastically at their stage.
In the middle of the show, Kim Dong-ryul, a joint representative of Citizen's Solidarity against Chosun Ilbo, and Sung Yu-bo, a chief director of Citizen's Coalition for Democratic Media, made speeches.
Kim said, "If we do not overcome Chosun Ilbo, there will be no hope of our nation." Sung also blamed Chusun Ilbo for their Japanophilism during the period of Japanese rule and current pro-Americanism.
There was a performance which represented the Chosun Ilbo has given damages to the press of Korea in the second program. A performer symbolizing Chosun Ilbo made a mess of another performers' clothes which made of other newspapers.
As a final program, "Citizen Guerrilla, Project of Attacking Chosun Ilbo" was given. There was a stage of citizen's speech for a moment and bursting balloon events.
"I have come to know about Anti-Chosun movement by seeing this show." Lee So-youn, a woman audience, said.
