Not Real Democracy

Citizens of some countries are not taken in by their government. Specifically, Korea and the citizens of Korea are controlled by a rightist plot in the nice dress of democracy.

Major countries are heading towards democracy, but some countries which claim to be democratic have citizens who do not think that their country is democratic. That is to say, citizens of some countries are not taken in by their government. Specifically, Korea and the citizens of Korea are controlled by a rightist plot in the nice dress of democracy.
Democracy is a form of government in which the right to make political decisions is exercised directly by the whole body of citizens, acting under procedures of majority vote.
In spite of this, democracy in Korea seems to be an ideology centering on the ruling classes: seeing
laborers on the street who are out of jobs, students on the street who cry for reform, citizens who pay tax to the government but do not have benefits which correspond to the tax, and high school students who are forced to take supplementary lessons which they do not want. In Korean society, what the majority doesn't want is done to the majority by the minority such as politicians, company presidents and school principals who force their agenda on the majority who often doesn't agree with those decisions.
For another example, a few days ago, President Kim Dae-jung appeared on TV on Conversation With the Nation and said, "I will guarantee the liberty of assembly and demonstration of people." But that same night, people trying to enter the broadcasting station to inform President Kim of people's requests were denied entrance. This is a representative example which directly shows the veil of democracy. Politicians who say, "Korea is democratic" to the nation but deny democratic rights in reality should first study the real meaning of democracy. I want to tell this to Korean politicians 'Politicians! Don't you understand the real meaning of democracy is a form of government in which the right to make political decisions is exercised directly by the whole body of citizens, acting under procedures of majority? It is nothing like the current form of Korean government!" Are politicians the only people who wear masks of democracy? Citizens do not get angry about the human rights violations reported by the media. Koreans do not think, "Oh! In Korea, there is the liberty of assembly and demonstration but why are the students arrested by the police?" if they see a scene in which a police officer beats a student. The reason why people do not get angry about the scene is that the democracy of Korea prescribed by the ruling class has been poured into our heads at and by the news which is controlled by the government.
The notion that Korea is a true democracy is outdated and simply not true. Though in the past the appearance of democracy in Korea looked like a nice dress, which looks clean, but soon turns into a rag.
Democracy cannot exist anywhere unless the owner washes the dress completely and mends it with a new tag of real democracy.
