"This year, we are also going to hold this labor media conference transferring 5 year-old history of labor internet era within comprehensive participation of labor circle." an official staff for preparatory committee of 2001 labor media said.
The 2nd Seoul International Labor Media held at Soong-sil Univ. of Korea in 1999, got activists both in and out of Korea from approximately 30 countries,to drive its conclusion into building network of pan-global labor movement through a heating discussion for global solidarity by labor as well as against surging attack of brutal capital under the theme of "Labor movement, New media and Communication"
"This year, faced with whole drastic attack of neo-liberalism, we propose to hold a 3rd Seoul International labor media jointly with other groups for progressing in worker's international solidarity much closer than any other round with exchanging accomplishments among activists by each country" said Yong-ken Lee who takes charge of organizing committee for 3rd Seoul Int'l labor media.
In the meantime, "General itinerary which proceeds with workshop for labor movement by internet networking and other related-topic discussion will raise the curtain from 12th to 14th of November", however "place of event isn't confirmed yet" Seung-man Kim, executive director of Task Force Team for Labor Information revealed.
